Man Stole Car, Left Scene Of Accident: Milford Police

He is also accused of breaking into a home and stealing $3,000 worth of items, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man, Terry Garrett, 56, of Wood Avenue, is being held in lieu of a $65,000 bond, Milford police said Wednesday.

On Monday, police said they arrested Garrett on three active warrants. Garrett is accused of stealing a vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident in the stolen vehicle in June 2020, police said.

Garrett is also accused of forcing entry into a house causing $2,000 worth of damage and then stealing over $3,000 worth of items in July 2020, police said. Garrett is also accused of violating his court set probation, police said.

He is charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, first-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit first-degree criminal mischief, evading responsibility, and violation of probation.
