Man Stole Car From Local Dealership: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of stealing a car from a local car dealership, Milford police said.

On March 31, police arrested Joao Gomes, 21, of Beechmont Street, on a warrant, police said.

"Gomes is accused of stealing a motor vehicle from a local dealership located at 59 Meadow Street on November 2020," police said.

He is charged with second-degree larceny and was released on a $5,000 bond.
