Man Violates Protective Order, Charged With Burglary: Milford PD

The accused is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of violating a protective order and was ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bail, Milford police said.

On April 18, police responded to a Naugatuck Avenue residence on the report of a burglary in progress, police said. Officers found Daniel Ortiz-Gonzalez, 26, of Jones Avenue, on the property, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Ortiz-Gonzalez who is accused of entering the victim’s home illegally through a back door, police said. Ortiz-Gonzalez is also accused of violating a full no contact court order of protection, police said.

He is charged with violation of a protective order, second-degree burglary, and possession of narcotics.
