Man Walking With Mask On Harassed, Milford Police Say
Police said a man has been charged with harassment and intimidation based on bigotry.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of harassing a man who was walking while wearing a mask, police said.
On March 30, police responded to the area of Hill Street and W Town Street on the report of a breach of peace. A preliminary investigation found that a man pulled up in a vehicle in front of another man that was walking with a mask on, police said.
"The male suspect began to berate the male victim for wearing a mask outdoors and told the male to “Go back to China,” police said in a news release. "The male suspect then reversed his vehicle pointing it towards male victim."
