Milford 12U Softball All-Stars Repeat as Section 1 Champions
Sets up rematch of 2019 State Championship game with Waterford

The quest to repeat as State Champions got one step closer for the Milford Little League softball 12U District All Star team, as they defeated Fairfield 3-1 Sunday in a rematch of the 2019 Section 1 Championship. Fairfield forced the winner-take-all match-up earlier in the day with an 8-3 win over Milford.
In the Finale, Milford’s Madyson Bull was back to her dominating self, limiting the hot Fairfield bats to only 1 hit over 6 innings.
The game was hitless and scoreless for the first three innings. In the Fairfield 4th, a one-out single would come around to score on a Milford infield error, giving Fairfield a 1-0 lead.

Avery Falco would score on a passed ball extending the lead to 3-1.
