Milford Arrest Log, Sept. 4-5, 2024

Recent arrests by the Milford Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

MILFORD, CT ? The following information has been provided by the Milford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

  • A Milford man was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with evading responsibility. The man was released on a promise to appear in court. The man is accused of hitting a parked vehicle and leaving the scene of the accident.
  • A Bridgeport woman was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court. The woman is accused of spitting on a victim during a verbal argument at the mall.
  • A Milford man was arrested Aug. 23 and charged with evading responsibility and following too close. He was released on a promise to appear in court. The man is accused of hitting a vehicle from behind and leaving the scene of the accident.
  • A West Haven man and a Wethersfield woman were arrested Aug. 31. The West Haven man was charged with sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $500. The Wethersfield woman was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on $3,500 bond. Police initially responded to a shoplifting call from a Boston Post Road Walgreens in which the West Haven man was accused of taking $135 worth of items.
  • A Milford man was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with misuse of 911 system. He was released on a promise to appear in court. The man made 911 calls where he mentioned a gun. Police said he was "extremely intoxicated and there was no emergency issue."
  • A New Haven woman was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal trespassing. She was released on a promise to appear in court. She is accused of stealing $50 worth of items from the Boscov's in the mall.
  • A Bridgeport man was arrested Sept. 3 and charged with driving under the influence and operating without a license. Bond was set at $500. Police saw the man driving erratically on Old Gate Lane, while he was allegedly under the influence.
  • A New Haven man was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault. Bond was set at $5,000. He is accused in a domestic violence incident.
  • A Branford man was arrested Sept. 4 and charged fifth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court. He is accused of stealing over $500 worth of merchandise from Target in the mall in May.
