The Planning and Zoning Board approved a developer's plans to build an apartment building at the site of the Bridgeport Flyer Diner.
MILFORD, CT ? The Planning and Zoning Board approved a developer's plan to replace a diner with a residential project at its Tuesday night meeting, according to city documents.
The plans are for 249 Bridgeport Ave., the current site of the Bridgeport Flyer Diner, which has been in the city for over five decades.
Metro Star Co. LLC's proposal calls for 80 apartments with 24 of those being affordable. Construction is anticipated to begin in April on two, five-level buildings. The site will have 90 parking spaces, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
