Milford Cops Make Gun Trafficking Arrest

An Orange man was arrested in Milford on Sunday for the alleged illegal sale of a firearm to a juvenile who police said the accused met on the Internet.

Travis Quick, 25, was charged with sale of a firearm to a person under 21 years of age, weapon in a motor vehicle and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police said they received a complaint on July 8 regarding a possible illegal gun transaction in the parking lot of 1365 Boston Post Road.

The next day, police said the investigation revealed, the alleged dealer, Quick, sold the unregistered firearm for $600 to a juvenile he earlier engaged with on the Internet.

Quick’s bond was set at $75,000, police said Monday. The Orange man is due in court Oct. 1.
