Milford Election Results 2023: GOP Projected To Win Mayor's Race

Thousands of Milford residents have cast their votes in the 2023 municipal election in several key races.

MILFORD, CT ? Tony Giannattasio, a Republican, is the projected winner on election night, according to The Milford Mirror. He is projected to defeat his challenger, Keri Rowland, a Democrat.

According to the Secretary of State website, Giannattasio received 8,298 votes or 51.63 percent of the vote and Rowland secured 7,773 votes or 48.37 percent of the vote.

For the position of city clerk, Democratic incumbent Karen Fortunati received 8,634 votes and Jack Fowler, the Republican, received 7,241 votes.

With no incumbent running in Milford, the mayoral race had two candidates seeking the city's top spot.

Rowland conceded to Giannattasio after all the city's nine precincts reported in.

The democratic candidate is Kerri Rowland, and the Republican candidate is Tony Giannattasio.

City Clerk

Democratic candidate is Karen Fortunati, and the Republican candidate is Jack Fowler.

Democratic candidates are Matt Arciuolo II and Michelle Parente, and Republican candidates are Buddy Prete, Andy Fowler and Jason Jenkins.

Democratic candidates are Erin Pinsince and Gary Peluchette, and Republican candidates are Scott Firmender and Christina Prete.

Planning and Zoning 1st District

The Democratic candidate is Joe Castignoli, and the Republican candidate is John Agnese.
