Milford Gas Leak Forces Evacuations, Road Closures
Houses on a section of Broadway were evacuated as gas company and public works employees address a gas leak that has also shut down streets.
MILFORD, CT — A gas leak on Broadway in Milford has led to evacuations and road closures, police said Wednesday morning.
Milford Police said the location of the leak was found and workers "are actively addressing the problem."
According to a tweet from police, houses close to the leak were evacuated. Southern Connecticut Gas and Milford Public Works staffers are on scene, authorities said.

And police said Broadway is closed between Brookdale Avenue and Grant Street, so motorists should seek out other routes.
