Milford Knights Travel Basketball Announce Outside Try Outs

The Milford Knights Travel Basketball Program is holding tryouts next week for both their girls and boys teams from 4th grade through 8th grade. Due to Covid-19, this years tryouts will be held outside at various playground locations across greater Milford. Please look below for your date and time.

This years season will be alot different than years past but we are looking to give the boys and girls some sort of basketball season. Currently, we are unable to use the Parsons Complex as well as the local schools. We are hoping that in 2021, things may open up a little bit and we will be granted access to the Parsons Complex.

We are looking at each of our teams playing between 18 to 22 games which would mostly be played at InSports in Trumbull. Games would be played from end of November to the end of March. Practice time is a challenge this year so each team may have very limited amount of practice time.

The program fee for this year will be $230. Due to this being an extraordinary year, we are allowing returning players to use their uniform from last year if they desire. For players requiring a new uniform or need a new one, uniforms will be $60 and just consist of reversible top and bottom.

Travel basketball is designed for players that are looking for a little more than the recreational level offers. By participating in travel basketball, it creates a path for many of the players to play at the high school level.

In order to be eligible to play for the Milford Knights you must be a Milford resident or attend a private or public school in Milford.

6th Grade Boys - 4pm Tuesday, September 29th at Jepsen Courts
7th Grade Boys - 5:15pm Wednesday, September 30th at Jepsen Courts
8th Grade Boys - 5:15pm Friday, October 2nd at Jepsen Courts
