MILFORD, CT ? Mayor Tony Giannattasio has announced the launch of the Mayor?s Youth Council, a new initiative designed to bring student perspectives into local government decision-making.

The council will include two student representatives from each of Milford?s middle and high schools. Participants will serve as youth ambassadors, offering input on city policies and programs, while gaining first-hand experience in leadership and governance.

?This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain leadership experience and make a meaningful impact on Milford,? Giannattasio said in a statement. ?I remain committed to fostering a community where young people have a say in shaping our city.?
