Milford Man Arrested Three Times In Six Days: Police

The accused is charged with multiple counts of criminal violation of a restraining order, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was charged three times over a six-day period with criminal violation of a restraining order, police said.

Police said on April 2 Christopher Governali, 32, of Judith Drive, was arrested on a warrant. Governali is accused of violating a full no contact restraining order by contacting the victim via telephone numerous times in March 2021, police said.

Then on April 3, police said they received a complaint of a possible restraining order violation. Investigation led to the arrest of Governali who is accused of violating a full no contact restraining order through a third party via social media, police said. He was released after posting $10,000 bail.

And then on April 7 police arrested Governali on a warrant. He is accused of contacting a female via social media and other electronic platforms, police said. The female has an active order of protection against Governali, police said. He was given a $2,500 bond.

According to online court records he has been released from custody.
