Milford Man Tries to Get a Young Female Into His Car: Police

Milford Police said they received a complaint on Dec. 27 that a male had allegedly approached a juvenile female and asked her to get into his vehicles as she was riding her bicycle.

The juvenile female fled the scene and went to a friend’s house immediately to call 911, according to police.

Thomas Stanton, 68, of 44 Demaio Dr., was found by officers shortly after and identified by the victim, according to police.

Stanton was charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace.

Stanton was held on $5,000 bond and given a court date of Jan. 26, 2016.
