Milford Mom Pleads With Lamont To Vaccinate Her Daughter: Report

The woman's daughter suffers from severe muscular dystrophy and has to breathe through a ventilator.

MILFORD, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont has declared that Connecticut will disseminate the coronavirus vaccine by age and that has led a Milford parent to plead with Lamont to allow her daughter to be vaccinated now.

Venus Rogers told News 12 CT that her daughter, Amber, 36, suffers from severe muscular dystrophy and has to use a ventilator to breathe. Because of Amber's medical condition she is quite susceptible to contracting the virus, News 12 reported. Amber currently won't get the vaccine for a couple of more months.
