Milford Monsters Are Champions Once Again
The won the championship game earlier this month by a 6 to 1 score.
MILFORD, CT — The Milford Monsters baseball team is celebrating its second consecutive Nutmeg State Baseball League Championship. It's an 18 and older wood bat baseball team that plays doubleheaders on Sundays in April through August. They won 6 to 1 in the championship game and were led by Tim Brown, who pitched a complete game while striking out ten batters.
The offensive stars were Sean Cameron, Dennis Hine and Mike Olszyk, who blasted a homerun.
Nutmeg State Baseball League President Mike Doran presented Milford Monsters Owner/Manager Chris Capalbo with a trophy. The Milford Monsters General Manager is Matt Donovan.
