Milford Residents Required To Wear Face Masks In City Buildings
Mayor Ben Blake announced the news on Wednesday.

MILFORD, CT — Mayor Ben Blake said residents who enter city buildings must still wear a mask even if they're vaccinated for the time being.
Blake wrote an open letter to residents:
As you may be aware, the State of Connecticut has eased certain mask-wearing restrictions following CDC guidance issued late last week. Effective tomorrow, May 19th, masks will no longer be required to be worn during outdoor activities, or indoors for those who are fully vaccinated. An individual is not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks following the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

It is important to note that masks will still be required in certain settings such as healthcare facilities, public transit, schools, child or eldercare facilities and anywhere that vulnerable members of the community may be present. Private businesses and institutions may also require mask wearing regardless of one’s vaccination status.
Until further notice, the City of Milford will continue to require that those members of the public entering City buildings wear a mask or face covering regardless of their vaccination status.
