Devon Flooding Should Subside With New Construction: Officials

MILFORD, CT — The Devon area of Milford has been affected by flooding for a long time but city officials hope that comes to an end with construction on Naugatuck Avenue.

Construction has taken a toll on local businesses, but city officials predict it will be worth the temporary headaches, according to the Milford Mirror.

The city approved funding for the project last year and the city will get reimbursement from state and federal funds. The project consisted of 2,100 feet of road reconstruction along with an upgrade to the drainage system.
