Milford School Budget Includes 2.25 Percent Spending Hike
The Board of Education voted 9-1 in support of the budget proposal.
MILFORD, CT — The Board of Education voted 9-1 this week to approve Superintendent of Schools Anna Cutaia’s $99.7 million proposed budget for fiscal 2021-22, the New Haven Register reports. The approved budget includes a 2.25 percent spending hike.
Some highlights of the budget include: expanded world language to third-graders and upgrades in science including labs.
The budget still needs approval from the boards of finance in March and aldermen in May before it is finalized.
