Thomas said JTs PCs is an e-commerce business and they don?t have a physical location.
?However, we were doing everything possible to bring out the awareness. We even turned the site pink, and our marketing emails turned pink,? he said.
Thomas said they sent emails to customers who bought products during the campaign to show how much money was sent to charity.
?We would show them the receipt of the money going to charity,? he said.
Donating to the American Cancer Society was personal for the team at JTs PCs LLC because their Chief Operating Officer Josh Wells? grandmother passed away from breast cancer.
?When I mentioned the idea to him, he loved it and said he wanted to allocate recourses to help the cause. He had a big part in the ideas and planning for the campaign,? Thomas said.
?While this month was just breast cancer, that does not discount everything else,? Thomas continued. ?I want some of our charity promotions in the future to reflect this.?
Thomas said there are plans in place to work with local Milford charities.
?It is something we are looking to do,? he said. ?Living in Milford, I?ve always enjoyed seeing how many events we have for charities, and the turnout to those events is always great.?
