MILFORD, CT — When it comes to the coronavirus alert level Milford is surrounded by a sea of red including West Haven, Stratford and Shelton, according to new data released by the state Department of Public Health.

But somehow, someway, Milford is in the yellow color code which means it is better off in containing the virus than most towns across Connecticut.

The yellow color code means Milford's case rate is 5-9 cases per 100,000 people and Milford's actual score is 8.2, which means it is nearing the orange color code status.
