Milford's Updated Emergency Order: Here's What You Need To Know
Mayor Ben Blake updated the city's emergency order in advance of Memorial Day 2021 weekend.

MILFORD, CT — The city of Milford updated its emergency order which states that Walnut, Gulf, Hawley Avenue, and Anchor beaches are open effective May 28.
Here is the full order from the city:
Limited parking will be available at the lots/areas near to Walnut and Gulf beaches with a 2021 city beach sticker or with payment of the appropriate fee at parking kiosks.

Parking on the following streets will be restricted to those with a 2021 city beach sticker:
Milford Point Road to Seaview Avenue, Seaview Avenue to Broadway, Joy Road, Shea Avenue, Robbie Circle, Maplewood Avenue, Pomona Avenue, Hickory Avenue, Chatham Avenue, Phelan Park, Datura Avenue, Fern Avenue, Knoll Avenue, Jefferson Street, Nettleton Avenue, Harrison Avenue, Monroe Street, East Broadway between Seaside Avenue and Silver Sands Parkway, Pumpkin Delight Road, Rockfield Road, Shell Avenue, Trumbull Avenue, Gulf Street (between Gulf Pond Bridge and Eveningside Drive), Old Field Lane (between Gulf Street and Ranch Road), Field Court, Bayshore Drive, Melba Street (Bayshore changeover to Buckingham Avenue), Point Beach Drive, Morningside Drive, Hillside Avenue, Beach Avenue, Hawley Avenue, Kings Highway, Blackall Road, Kensington Street, Howe Place, Swift Street, Warner Street, and Spencer Street, as well as the following streets from Kings Highway to Long Island Sound:

Village Road, Chapel Street, Dixon Street, Clinton Street, Usher Street, Dunbar Road, Devol Street, and Belmont Avenue, Wall Street (between New Haven Avenue to Hawley Avenue), Bonsilene Street (between New Haven Avenue to Hawley Avenue), and the following streets from New Haven Avenue to Long Island Sound: Belmont Avenue, Anderson Avenue and Rosemary Court.
Anyone who violates this executive order may be fined $85 for each violation for hourly and or daily non-payment via kiosk and for each violation of parking on any of the above-named streets without a 2021 city beach sticker. Vehicles may also be towed.
