MILFORD, CT - Charles Frederick Robertson passed away peacefully on January 2, 2020 near his home in Milford with family by his side.
“Charlie” leaves behind the love of his life and wife of close to 43 years, Elaine (Lamontagne) Robertson. He led an amazing adventure in life, together with Elaine, creating a lasting legacy in the Robertson name with son, Jeffrey Robertson and wife Nicole of Zionsville, Indiana; his daughter, Lisa Robertson of Milford; his son, Neil Robertson and wife Mariel of Stratford, CT; grandchildren, Landon and Chase of Indiana, Aaron Marsland and Amanda Simpson of Rhode Island.

Born to the late Charles D. Robertson and Dorothy (Brown) LaPointe, he was raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. A proud patriot, he served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. Charles led a successful career in the banking industry, serving as a Vice President for banks such as Citizens Bank in Rhode Island, Vermont National Bank and Connecticut National Bank. Charlie, with his positive outlook on life and people, touched so many lives and will be remembered as a kind and sweet man with genuine eyes and a caring smile. He cherished his time with those around him, enjoying good food and wine, and spent the later years of his life on his deck enjoying the outdoors.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 North Broad Street, Milford, CT. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Semper Fi Fund at semperfifund.org.
