Daniel Scott Ford, 59, of Milford, passed away on January 8, 2023. Born on September 22, 1963 in Milford, CT, he was the son of the late Daniel and Joanne (MacTaggart) Ford.

Danny attended Platt Technical High School and worked as a mechanic at Al's Service Center for several decades. He worked as a truck driver for a time and drove across many states. He briefly lived in South Texas where is oldest daughter was born. Danny liked to listen to the stories of J.R.R. Tolkien and Agatha Christie. He enjoyed the beach and spending time with his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his children, Shelby (Kyle) Ryan and Alyssa (Isaiah) Tomaselli; grandchildren, Thomas Ryan, and Amelia and Mackson Tomaselli; siblings, Debbie (Michael) Garnett, and Jason (Jayde) Ford; his nieces and nephews, James, Michael, Madelyn, Ruby and Gabriel Garnett, Amanda Ford, and Brian Dishey; his uncle, Ronald (Kathy) Ignatowski; and the mother of his children, Lynda Ford. In addition to his parents, Danny was predeceased by his sister, Kelly Ford.

Services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
