MILFORD, CT - Frederick David Pitt, Jr., 84, of Milford, beloved husband of Barbara Martaus Pitt, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2020.
Fred was born on March 15, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Frederick and Ruth Pitt, Sr.

Fred served in the United States Air Force where he was a photographer. He followed in his families footsteps as a third generation railroad worker. Fred enjoyed playing baseball, running, planes, and the beach. His family and friends will miss his witty personality and his ability to find the humor in anything.
Along with his wife, Fred is survived by his sons, Frederick D. (Kim) Pitt III and Michael J. Pitt; grandson, Michael J. Pitt, Jr.; longtime friend, Joe Raffone; and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Lillian.
