Obituary: Gail Ellen Demko, 80

MILFORD, CT - Gail Ellen Demko, 80, of Milford beloved wife of 62 years to John Samuel Demko, passed away February 24, 2020.

Gail was born on August 2, 1939 in Manchester, CT to the late Emil and Ester Bronky. In addition to her husband, Gail leaves behind her daughter, Ellen DeWeerdt and her husband Dennis; son, Mark Demko; and grandchildren, Sabrina and Jacob DeWeerdt.

Gail was a graduate of Bridgeport School of Nursing. She then pursued her bachelors and masters degrees at Southern Connecticut State University. She and John were dog obedience trainers for many years and she greatly loved their Collies, Angus and Julia. Gail was also an avid skier.
Per Gail’s wishes, no services are being held. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
