
Jean B Silva, age 75 of Stratford and formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Richard L Silva, died on Saturday, July 6.
Jean was born in Bridgeport, Conn., on December 17, 1937 to the late Clarence and Ruth Lawton Blackman.
Jean was a lover of music from the roaring twenties all the way through greats like Frank Sinatra and George M. Cohan. She and Richard spent many years with MECA entertaining thousands while fundraising for many different charities.
Jean spent countless hours on the choreography, costumes and set design. Jean and Richard spent the best 30 years of their lives in their dream home together on the beach in Milford.
Jean is survived by her only son, Tyler, her daughter-in-law Jessica, her three grandchildren Alexander, Jonathan and Christian; her nieces Patricia Connor and Laurie Obuhanick; her nephews Arthur Griswold Jr. and Richard Griswold; and her brother-in-law Arthur Griswold Sr. Jean is pre-deceased by her sister, Judith Griswold.
