Obituary: Jennifer Sutherland, 37, Of Milford

MILFORD, CT ? Jennifer Sutherland was born on June 17, 1986 in Milford and is the daughter of Edward Sutherland of West Haven and Kathleen Flynn of Derby.

Jen was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She cared for every child that she came across, including helping to raise her nieces and nephew.

As a wonderful, beautiful soul, she strived to catch every moment with a photo. It was her way of making memories last forever. She loved the beach and any place to relax with family. April fools, Halloween, and Christmas were her favorite holidays. Everyone's birthday was a day to celebrate them. Her memory will forever be cherished.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer was the proud mother of her two daughters, Gabriella Grace Davis and Juliana Alexis Batista of Milford. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sarah Day and her husband, Stephen of Meriden and Aimee Sutherland of Derby, and her large extended family, Jason (Liz Buckley) Batista, and Verna Batista all of Milford and six nieces and nephews, Joseph, Janessa, Ashley, Gianna, Ailanee and Amalia and many cousins and close friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 16th at 9:30 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through the funeral home
