MILFORD, CT — Joseph A. DeTullio, 81, of Milford, beloved husband of Lois (Horton) DeTullio, passed away on February 1, 2024. Born on March 11, 1942 in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Anthony and Marion (Cerrone) DeTullio.

He was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, Class of 1960 and then attended Connecticut School of Electronics. He worked for Technical Measurement Corporation in North Haven as an Electronic Technician. He then worked for several years at WTNH, Channel 8 New Haven, as a technician/camera operator. He left this field in 1970 to begin a career in the automotive industry as a beloved Parts and Service Manager, where he spent the remainder of his working years.

He had a passion for classic cars (especially his 57 T-Bird), fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with his cherished family. And although he wasn?t the greatest cook, he enjoyed eating.
In addition to his loving wife of 59 years, Lois, Joe is survived by his son, Anthony DeTullio and his significant other, Cathy Natalino, his daughter, Cynthia DeTullio and her significant other, Kenneth Hallstrom ; grandchildren, Shaylene Rodenhizer, Joseph DeTullio, Anthony DeTullio Jr. and his significant other, Brianna Valente, Morgan Butterfield and her husband Denys Trofimchuk, Timothy Butterfield and his significant other, Ez Boschert, and Kinsley Walden; and his cats, Max and Lily.

Friends and family may call from 4pm-8pm on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish) 450 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH).
