Obituary: Spencer Allen Glickman, 79, of Wallingford
Spencer, an avid golf enthusiast and devoted family man, served as a Senior Sales Manager with Ikon Office Systems.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Spencer Allen Glickman, 79, of Wallingford passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was the husband of Cecelia Glickman.
Spencer was born in New Haven, a son of the late Murray and Bernice Heisler Glickman. After High School he attended the University of New Haven.
Spencer was a Senior Sales Manager with Ikon Office Systems. He later started a business born out of his passion for golf that kept him busy rubbing elbows with golf pros and enthusiasts alike.
Beyond golf, Spencer was an avid fan of sports in general.
In addition to his wife, Spencer is survived by his daughter Jill Glickman and her husband Michael Hill of Rhode Island; his son Marc Glickman of CT; his grandchildren Rachel, Sarah, and Mason; and his brothers Steve Glickman and his wife Terri and Alec Glickman and his wife Marcia; and his two best of friends of 40 years Rick Blake and Jim Sweeney, who were always a great support in time of need.
At Spencer’s request funeral services will be private and at the discretion of his family.
