William ?Bill? Bunker Brotherton, Jr., 79, of Milford, beloved husband of Kay (Brunzell) Brotherton, passed away on January 16, 2023. Born on December 29, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late William B. and Mildred (Casey) Brotherton, Sr.

Bill was a graduate of Milford High School class of 1961. He was lead man machinist, retiring after 20, with the Burndy Corporation. He then drove school buses for Winkle for another 18 years.
In addition to his loving wife, Kay, Bill is survived by his children, Scott (Donna) Brotherton, Kyle Brotherton, Lois (Kevin) Daigle, and Shaun Brotherton; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Robert) Oliver and Kathleen (Robert) Hunter; and sisters-in-law, Hilma, Anne, and Karla. William was predeceased by his son, William ?Billy? Brotherton, III, and daughter-in-law, Vicky Brotherton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
