Person Struck By Train Near Milford Station: MTA

MILFORD, CT ? A person was struck by a train near the Milford station Tuesday afternoon, according to MTA.

The incident was reported around 2:15 p.m. Metro North officials and EMS responded to the scene. A male victim was transported to an area hospital, MTA spokesman Michael Cortez said.

An investigation is underway, but preliminarily there doesn't appear to be a criminal aspect to the incident.
