Popular Burger Restaurant Opens In Downtown Milford

The restaurant was originally slated to open in the spring but was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

MILFORD, CT — The wait is finally over. Flipside Burgers & Bar has opened its new location in downtown Milford. The restaurant was originally slated to open in the spring but was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Flipside Burgers & Bar is located at 1 Schooner Lane in the former home of the Indigo By The Water Restaurant. It is the second Flipside location, joining the original in Fairfield.

"Customers can expect the same delicious, fresh, quality food and drinks that we have been providing Fairfield for 10 years,” Stephanie McCool, the manager at Flipside Burgers & Bar, previously told Patch. “We are known for our fabulous creative burgers like the Mac 'n Cheese Burger (topped with house made Mac 'n cheese, bacon, fresh pico and house made cheese sauce) and the Candy Popper Burger (topped with cream cheese, candied bacon, pickled jalapeños, shaved carrots and honey served on a toasted pretzel bun). We have about 25 creative specialty burgers on our menu.”

According to its website, Flipside offers “no-nonsense, feel-good food right.”

“We think burgers are the best comfort food...easy, delicious and satisfying!” a post on the website reads. “Visit Flipside for a fun and casual atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxed family dinner on the patio, hanging out with friends in our comfortable dining room, or enjoying drinks at the bar or on the seasonal outside lounge.”
