The restaurant owners shared that there was a COVID-19 exposure at the eatery.

MILFORD, CT — Milford's Citrus Restaurant has closed temporarily due to a COVID-19 exposure, the owners said in a social media post. Citrus is located at 56 Broad St. in downtown Milford.

"Unfortunately due to Covid-19 exposure Citrus Restaurant will be closed until further notice," the eatery posted on Facebook. "In order to provide a safe and efficient environment we will be closed temporarily. All staff are required to get tested and can not return to work until proof of a negative test.

"We will continue to be proactive about keeping the staff and our customers safe. Until then we will keep everyone posted about when we will re-open. But Thank you all, who have came out and dined with us in the past months or those of you who have ordered take-out. We appreciate all the support you have given us. We can’t wait to be back!"
