Popular, Unique Burger Restaurant Opening In Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — Flipside Burgers & Bar in Fairfield will be opening a new location in Milford in the spring of 2020, company officials told Patch.

Stephanie McCool, who is the manager at Flipside Burgers & Bar, said the Milford location will be at 1 Schooner Lane in downtown Milford, which is the old Indigo By The Water Restaurant.

"The owner decided on Milford because he loved the location with the giant patio overlooking the water. He also feels that it is an appropriate distance away from our Fairfield location to create another Flipside burgers and bar," McCool said.

"Customers can expect the same delicious, fresh, quality food and drinks that we have been providing Fairfield for 10 years. We are known for our fabulous creative burgers like the Mac ‘n Cheese Burger (topped with house made Mac ‘n cheese, bacon, fresh pico and house made cheese sauce) and the Candy Popper Burger (topped with cream cheese, candied bacon, pickled jalapeños, shaved carrots and honey served on a toasted pretzel bun). We have about 25 creative specialty burgers on our menu!," McCool added.

She said the business is known for its "amazing happy hour featuring all drinks at 1/2 price 3-6pm Monday- Saturday. Food offerings start with delicious small plates (like our fried zucchini, calamari and hot buttery pretzel bun), sliders (tons of special ones like the Chip and Dip topped with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, house made potato chips and French onion dip) and tacos (like our famous cheeseburger taco topped with house made cheese sauce, lettuce and tomatoes) .

"Also we have been voted best margaritas in Fairfield for 5 years running! Some of our favorites are the cucumber honey (with fresh cucumber and honey) or the spicy passion fruit margarita (with fresh jalapeños muddled right in.)

"Flipside has something for everyone! Family’s can enjoy our kids menu, milkshake options and house made desserts! While friends can hang out and share one of our awesome 60oz Monster drinks (try a scorpion bowl, pomegranate sangria or fruit punch to name a few) or pitchers of margaritas.
