Prominent Shopping Plaza For Sale In Milford
A shopping plaza with a national retail anchor store and restaurants is now on the market.
MILFORD, CT — A shopping plaza near the Connecticut Post Mall anchored by an REI store is up for sale, according to a listing on Crexi.com.
Milford Square at 1587 Boston Post Road also has a Jersey Mike's, Sleep Number, Salons by JC, and Dave's Hot Chicken.
The 56,592-square-foot property is described as "a premier retail destination with excellent visibility and accessibility." A price is not listed for the property, which appeared on Crexi on Wednesday. The property sold for $28 million to a group of private investors in 2018.

"The property?s location, within a densely populated and affluent market, ensures sustained consumer demand and long-term viability," according to the listing.

The Boston Post Road corridor where the shopping plaza is located brings in 22,000 vehicles per day. The area surrounding the parcel is a "vibrant mix of national and regional retailers, including Costco, Whole Foods Market, and Target."

Dave's Hot Chicken opened its first Connecticut location at Milford Square in January.
The Milford REI, or Recreational Equipment Inc., is one of only three locations in the state, with the other two being in Norwalk and West Hartford. The Milford store opened in 2016.
