Sand Tiger Shark Spotted In Milford: Report
A sand tiger shark was seen in Milford this week, according to News 12 CT.

MILFORD, CT — News 12 CT received a video that shows a sand tiger shark at Silver Sands State Park in Milford on Tuesday.
Mark Fowler, an animal expert, told News 12 that a sand tiger shark is known to be in Long Island Sound and is used to control the fish population.
According to Oceana.org, a sand tiger shark can grow to 10.5 feet and weigh 350 pounds and its population has been decreasing rapidly and may one day end up being endangered.
