Scholarship Programs Offered to Milford Students

Two scholarships available to Milford students.

The VFW Post 7788 & Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring several scholarship programs for Milford students in grades 6–12.

Each of the scholarship programs incorporates a patriotic theme. Prizes are progressive and awarded at local, district, state and national levels.

Entries may earn more than $30,000 to be used to further the student's education.

Patriot’s Pen - This scholarship program is a youth essay open to 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade students. The theme for this year’s essay is “What Patriotism Means to Me."

Voice of Democracy - This scholarship program is an oral essay open to 9th-, 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students. The theme for this year’s essay is “Why I’m Optimistic About Our Nation’s Future."
