MILFORD, CT—The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced there would be no swimming at Silver Sands State Park in Milford Tuesday.
The park's swimming area was closed due to high bacteria levels, according to DEEP.
Other parks that are closed to swimmers Tuesday include Indian Well in Shelton, Kettletown in Southbury, Wadsworth Falls in Middlefield and Wharton Brook in Wallingford.
