The National Weather Service is forecasting more snow and ice for southern Connecticut on Friday. Here's how much to expect.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service on Friday morning issued a special weather statement for southern Connecticut, saying pockets of light freezing rain will mix with or change over to a light snow.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. as an additional 2 inches of snow and ice are possible.
