The National Weather Service has just issued a special weather statement for New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT ? The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties.
At 6:47 a.m. Tuesday, the weather service said, "Light precipitation is currently moving across the region. Most of the area is observing temperatures above freezing, however there may be a few isolated locations where ground temperatures remain right at freezing. As a result, some patchy icy spots may develop."
