'Suspicious Message' Leads To More Security At Milford School: Report

There will be additional security at a Milford school Tuesday after the school received a suspicious message, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT ? There will be extra security at Platt Technical High School in Milford on Tuesday after a suspicious message was received, according to WTNH News-8.

Police said that the security is out of an abundance of caution and that there is no threat to the public.

No other information about the threat was available.

The news comes after similar incidents in other Connecticut towns. A student was arrested over the weekend after making a threat against Thomas Edison Middle School in Meriden, according to police.

Last week, a Stamford High School student was accused of making a threat against the school on Snapchat. The student threatened to "shoot up the school" on the social media app, police said.
