Unique Milford Bakery Serving Mini Treats Will Close
Good Morning Cupcake will close after what its owner called "an amazing four years in business."
MILFORD, CT ? It's a sad day for those with a sweet tooth: Good Morning Cupcake in Milford will stop serving its miniature treats after four years in business.
Adrianna Linkstrom, a pastry chef who was selected to compete on a Food Network series, made the announcement on the bakery's Facebook page Wednesday.
"It?s been an amazing 4 years but I?m excited and ready for this next chapter in my life," she wrote. "Thank you to all my customers, family and friends who supported me along the way. This chapter has come to an end but the next is just starting to be written."

Linkstrom said it was her dream to run a cupcake shop since she was 18 years old. But things have changed since she started the business, as she is now married and has a daughter.
"My priorities in life have just shifted," she said.

Linkstrom said that moving on from the shop is "bittersweet." She has accepted a new job as a culinary instructor at Amity Regional High School.
"The time has come for me to move on to my next adventure."
Good Morning Cupcake at 252 Melba St. is described as a "bitty bakery specializing in mini desserts that are not only delicious but eye appealing as well." The shop serves everything from cookies to doughnuts to whoopie pies.
"With bite sized sweets, you have the ability to taste and enjoy many flavors or indulge in a small enough portion to satisfy your craving," the website reads.
The bakery receives a rating of 4.2 stars on both Facebook and Google reviews.
In 2020, Linkstrom appeared on the Food Network series "Girl Scout Championship." She called the experience "the most nerve-wracking thing I've ever done but also a lot of fun."
And it's possible you may see Linkstrom serving up sweet treats again one day: she said she still wants to pursue owning an ice cream shop one day.
