Victim Identified In Fatal Milford Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian Crash
A 71-year-old man was struck and killed on Boston Post Road shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, according to police.
MILFORD, CT — Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian Friday night on Route 1 as a Milford man.
Jeanmarie Goldstein, 71, was crossing Boston Post Road near the Big Y Supermarket around 6:47 p.m. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Goldstein was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to police.
The operator of the vehicle, a 53-year-old man from Branford, was alone, police said.
