Woman Displays Needle At Walmart: Milford Police
When confronted by loss prevention the accused pulled out a needle, threatened the employee and then left on foot, police said
MILFORD, CT — A New Haven woman, Amy Kiernan, 42, of Congress Avenue, is accused of displaying a needle while at Walmart, Milford police said.
On Wednesday, police responded to the retailer at 1365 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting report, police said. Investigation led to the arrest Kiernan who is accused of stealing over $190 worth of merchandise, police said.
When confronted by loss prevention Kiernan pulled out a needle, threatened the employee and then left on foot, police said in a news release.

Kienan was located a short time later with a needle and a box cutter in her hands, police said.
She is charged with second-degree robbery, interfering with police and sixth-degree larceny. She was given a court date of Jan. 4, 2021.
