2 Pedestrians Struck By Pick-Up Truck In Critical Condition: PD

Saturday afternoon, two people were hit by the truck at the intersection of Farren Avenue and Fulton Street, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Saturday afternoon, a pickup truck struck two people at the intersection of Farren Avenue and Fulton Street, police said.

New Haven police spokesman Scott Shumway said the crash happened around 1:50 p.m. when "a red pick-up truck collided with two pedestrians."

Shumway said the two males were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where they are listed in critical but stable condition. The pick-up truck driver sustained minor injuries, he said.

The New Haven Police Department Crash Team responded to the scene and the investigation is on-going. New Haven Police ask that witnesses who have not yet spoken with Police contact the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6304.
