NEW HAVEN, CT — Michael Reilly, 20, of Wallingford was killed early Sunday when his car was involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 46, according to media reports including Fox 61.

Authorities said that the tractor-trailer driver had reduced his speed while approaching a construction area, and was struck from behind by Reilly's Kia Optima LX, Fox 61 reports.

The accident occurred just after 2 a.m.
