Actor Paul Giamatti Stops By Pepe's For Pizza

NEW HAVEN, CT — Actor and New Haven native Paul Giamatti enjoyed a pizza dinner in New Haven at Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana Saturday night.

Giamatti had some slices of Pepe's famous white clam pizza and a sausage and mushroom pie, according to the restaurant's social media manager.

Giamatti is a Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Award winning actor who has starred in movies including Cinderella Man and Saving Private Ryan. He won his Golden Globe and Emmy for playing John Adams in the HBO miniseries. More recently he has played U.S. Attorney Charles Rhoades Jr. in the Showtime show Billions

Pepe's has attracted dozens of stars and other famous people over the years. Actor Patrick Stewart stopped by around the New Year and former president Bill Clinton enjoyed pizza while Hillary Clinton was campaigning for president during the 2016 election.
