Coast Guard Prepares for the Winter Storm Brody

Coast Guard and partner agencies' operations and response times may be significantly impacted by the snow storm and heavy ice accumulation

Coastal Connecticut and Long Island are forecasted to receive up 12 inches of snow, with winds are

projected to reach 40-50 mile per hour gusts. Frigid temperatures and wind chills of -15 to -25 are

expected. Prepare accordingly. The Coast Guard and our partner agencies' operations and response

times may be significantly impacted by the snow storm and heavy ice accumulation.
