Gateway Community College Enrollment Event This Saturday
PACT Program Enticing for New College Students. Enroll in a Day event simplifies registration process.
NEW HAVEN, CT – The chance to qualify for debt-free community college is proving to be a big draw for new college students and Gateway Community College (GCC) will host an Enroll in a Day event from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 to meet the demand.
The event at 20 Church Street is in-person by appointment only and aimed to streamline the registration process. Fall classes start on Thursday, August 26.
Students can apply, tour the college, obtain advising, participate in financial aid workshops, and arrange payment plans. New students must bring a photo ID, high school diploma and proof of immunization records. Academic placement testing is available by appointment by calling GCC at (203) 285-2519 or (203) 285-2217.

The Pledge to Advance Connecticut (PACT) is a program offering first-time college students the chance to qualify for debt-free community college. Students must register for 12+ credits and fill out the FAFSA application. The deadline for eligibility is Thursday, July 15.
